Hairbow Holders

I've been playing around with some different hairbow holders. These are 8" in diameter.

I've done several to match bedding. The bows you see -- are decorative and are stitched to the bottom of the hairbow holder.

Here is a fun and whimsical dragonfly frog pond theme growth chart. 

I loved the details with the cricket and lady bug. At the last minute I added them (a wonderful suggestion by my hubby). Our boys always love finding little things in pictures. I hope little Jack will enjoy this in his room. Thank you so much M.

I'm a New Aunt!!!!!

I am sooo excited!!! I am a brand new Aunt!!!! My little brother (not so little anymore) and his sweet wife Miranda just had a precious little boy named Joshua. They were so sweet to allow me to do something for his room. This is a personalized painting with a watermark monogram in the background. I took 2 pictures of just the monogram, before I added his name in chocolate brown. CONGRATULATIONS Dan & Miranda!!

Come Sail Away.....

This is a wall hanging that I did for a little boys room. It is the same size as my growth charts. 12x42. I always love doing nautical themes. It is one of my husbands loves. He received his certification several years ago. Hopefully one day we'll have a sailboat to explore the ocean in. Thanks so much M. I hope Benjamin is enjoying this in his room.

Lake Wadsworth

I recently received this order from a very sweet girl here in Roswell. She came to me with this fabulous idea. She wanted a growth chart for her future in laws. It would be used for their grandchildren. This is something I haven't done before --- a painting for the grandparents!??! I thought Wow! What a sweet idea! Her in laws have a place on the lake and she wanted to reflect that in the growth chart.

Candy Shop

These two paintings are 9x12 gallery wrapped canvas and are hung by grosgrain ribbon. They were done for a customer that I met at a home show. They turned out so girly and just remind me of candy gumballs.

She requested a monogram in Curlz and a Doodle Bug of her daughter in the other.

Lauren's Garden

This cute painting was done for one of my very best and dearest friends daughter. Her daughter is three years old and is the prettiest, and sassiest little girl that you have ever met. She is darling. When my girlfriend called me up and asked me to do this painting, I was so so thrilled.
It is such a great size. It measures 22x28 which I think is a perfect size to go over a full/queen bed.
Her room is gorgeous --- with walls and bedding of lavender, pinks and greens --- and these beautiful and unique decorative sheer nylon butterflies that have such a sweet and dream like style hanging in her room.

Ahoy Matey!

This summer has definitely been the summer for girls. Recently I received an adorable order for a little boys room -- and theme that I've been waiting to do. I have been playing around with some sketches of nautical life, and whales, when this one coincidently came up. I love the blue and browns together. It was to match this adorable bedding. You'll notice that it is very similar to the growth chart in size.

Two Little Birdies on a Branch

Here is a recent nursery wall hanging that I did along with a personalized/monogram name panel. It was to match a Pottery Barn Kids Crib Bedding. I did several different sketches for the mommy to be, and this is what we came up with. It was a combination of a few sketches that I have done. We punched up the colors a bit and I think it turned out wonderfully. I really hope the new baby will love it in her new room. Thank you L.

Summer... Summer....Summertime

Doesn't this door hanger just scream summertime, watermelon, picnics in the park, and warm sunny days???

Most of you know that I have two small boys, so I always love doing something a little girly.

And this was definitely girly!

We embellished this one with lots of tiny white polka dots, tone on tone stripes, pink ladybugs, and white daisies.

European Vacation!

This growth chart was so much fun and challenging. I got do something out of the box. When we first sat down and talked about what she was looking for we were going to do something a lot more mod and completely in a different direction. She then told me a little bit about the couple - one was from England and the other from Ireland and they have now settled down in Amsterdam. I thought it would be really neat to make it more personal and show all the places of interest from those countries. London with Big Ben, a Wind Mill in Holland, a night scene of the canals in Amsterdam, Dublin doors, Blarney Castle, and pastoral Ireland. I really love how this turned out! Thank you R.

Bugs & Butterflies!

I had the opportunity to do a pink and very girly growth chart this week! I also got a chance to really have fun with this one and I incorporated some mixed media which I love to do.

I used buttons for accents on the flowers, and bugs. It really gave it a dimensional element.
